A partnership with Second Harvest Heartland and other food banks across the state lets us help put food on hungry Minnesotans tables when they need it the most.

Minnesota is a state of plenty, a place full of people who care about others and want to make a difference in their communities. And one of the most basic ways we can care for our neighbors is to make sure they have enough to eat.

Basic Needs, Fulfilled

Hunger dominates. When families are hungry, every other financial goal – such as buying a home or saving for retirement or paying rent – fades to the background.

It’s critical for families to have access to healthy food, and our partnership with Second Harvest Heartland and other food banks across the state help families in need get their fill. Food banks support local food pantries, and can turn every $1 donated into 3 meals for hungry Minnesotans.

In 2023, Affinity Plus, our members and the community came together in a big way to meet the critical need created by the pandemic. Through direct giving and MyPlus Rewards™ contributions, more than $100,000 was donated to Second Harvest Heartland and other MN based food banks across the state resulting in more than 300,000 meals to Minnesotans in need.
