- You must be enrolled in, or have graduated from, a degree-granting program at an approved school. You can check if your school is approved for undergraduate, graduate, or refinance loans.
- Borrowers eligible for 0.25% rate discount during full repayment of principal and interest by electing to make automatic electronic payments. The APR will not fall below the floor rate regardless of the index or any additional rate discount. Discount applied only while automatic payments remain active.
- You may be eligible for a 1.00% interest rate reduction for each academic semester in which you achieve a grade point average of “B” (3.0) or higher, subject to a maximum reduction of 2.00% per calendar year. To receive a rate reduction, you must submit a request along with documentation of qualifying grades (i.e. a school transcript). Approved reductions will be applied prospectively from the date the transcript is received and processed and will not be applied retroactively. If a transcript is not submitted for a given semester, no rate reduction will be applied for that semester. Any rate reduction applied will remain in effect for the remaining term of the loan, regardless of subsequent academic performance.
