Affinity Plus Opens Branch in Virginia
New location strengthens Minnesota-based credit union’s community-focused initiatives in the Iron Range
VIRGINIA, Minn. (January 24, 2024) – Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union (Affinity Plus) today announced its new Virginia branch, located at 1460 S. 12th Ave West, is officially open for business. This strategic expansion adds to its successful branches in Grand Rapids and Duluth, further reinforcing the credit union’s commitment to serve Minnesotans in the northeastern portion of the state.
The new location provides the Virginia community with convenient, on-site access to the credit union’s full suite of member-centric programs and quality banking services, including better than free checking accounts, low rates on recreational vehicle loans and high yield savings accounts. The branch will offer a close, brick-and-mortar location to more than 700 existing members in the area. Affinity Plus also plans to further expand its physical footprint with a new branch in Shakopee later this year.

We can’t wait to deepen our connections with the community and continue to invest in Virginia while providing local residents with the premium banking services that Affinity Plus is known for.”
