To our parent members with kids under 18: Have you heard yet about our Affinity Plus Youth Banking app? With the latest version (1.3.0), your kids can practice paying off a loan! Now you can request monthly payments from them, with due dates and even late fees.

How Practice Loans Work

1. You’ve already made a big transfer to your child, or bought something expensive for them, on the condition that it’s paid back.
2. Then you request that amount from them, and “make it a practice loan” with monthly payments.
3. You set the loan term, from 2 – 12 months.
4. Your child sees a schedule of all the dates, and how much is due each time.
5. If their push notifications are on, they get reminders that a payment’s due soon.
6. If they don’t transfer it to you in time, they get a reminder plus a $1 late fee (owed to you).
