Affinity Plus Gives Minnesotans Early Paycheck Flexibility
New Early Pay System Offers Flexibility, Peace of Mind and Better Financial Control
St. Paul, Minn., June 10, 2022 – Minnesotans who want early access to their paychecks and better control over their finances can now access their money faster at Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union (Affinity Plus). The newly launched program, Early Pay, means any Affinity Plus member can now simply set up direct deposit with their employer or payer and receive paychecks and other direct deposits up to two days early, at no additional cost.

Early Pay is made available to Affinity Plus members based on ACH (automated clearing house) instructions received from their employers or other payers. Many employers make direct deposit information available a day or two before the scheduled payday.
In addition to paychecks, early access to direct deposits can include Social Security, military and pension payments. When Affinity Plus receives a message that a deposit is on its way, it will give members access to the funds sooner than usual.
“Members can now access their funds sooner, while enjoying the security that comes with direct deposit. When you get your direct deposit at Affinity Plus, you may even get paid sooner than your coworkers,” added Twedt.
Affinity Plus checking and spending accounts also include debit cards with chips for extra fraud protection, email and text alerts on balances, a top-rated mobile app, access to more than 60,000 ATMs nationwide, and rewards points from debit purchases that can be redeemed from the mobile app or online banking. Members also have access to insurance discounts, tax software, car-buying support, real estate listings and tickets to local shows and events.
