The Home Equity Loan is a fixed-rate; closed-end 2nd mortgage:

Great Rates

Qualified borrowers will receive a promotional rate discount of 1% off the qualifying Annual Percentage Rate (APR). Current APRs are between 5.490% and 5.740%.**

Up to $25,000

Borrow up to a maximum $25,000 and up to 100% combined loan-to-value (CLTV) of the home.

Flexible Terms

Flexible repayment terms of 5 and 10 years.

Waived Fees

Closing costs and appraisal fees are waived for this loan.***

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the promotion, eligible borrowers must:

  • The loan must be secured to an owner-occupied residential property and/or second home (Non-investment property)
  • Provide proof of disaster impact
  • Must not have active delinquent payments on existing mortgage(s) and property taxes (prior to disaster)
  • Must reside in a declared disaster area: 56601: Bemidji; 56619: Bemidji; 56647: Hines; 56663: Pennington; 56667: Puposky; 56683: Tenstrike; 56687: Wilton; 56676: Shevlin; 56678: Solway; 56633: Cass Lake
  • Standard underwriting guidelines apply
  • Promotion expires on 8/31/2025

*Home equity loans are secured by a second-position mortgage lien on the property. No down payment is required. Loan approval is subject to credit approval and program guidelines. Interest rates and program terms are subject to change without notice. Homeowner's property insurance is required, and flood insurance may be required. New or existing Affinity Plus membership is required. All loans subject to approval and standard underwriting guidelines.  

**A promotional rate discount of 1% will be granted to qualified applicants and will apply for the full term of the loan. No additional discounts will apply. 

***Affinity Plus will waive the closing costs and appraisal fee for qualified applicants during the promotional period.
