How long have you been powerlifting?
Almost 6 years.
Why do you love powerlifting?
It helps improve my strength and it will help me pick up heavy stuff in my future! It also improves my health – I haven’t had a soda in 10 years or pizza in 6 years.
What gets you most excited for the USA Games in June?
Meeting new athletes from the United States and making new friends.
What other sports do you compete in?
Bowling, softball and powerlifting, but my Number One favorite is powerlifting.
What do you like most about Special Olympics?
Making new friends from other teams, it’s fun to hang out and meet new people!
