Someone from Affinity Plus will help you with the New American Loan application.You’ll also become an Affinity Plus member
To get a loan with us, Affinity Plus membership is required. So we’ll set you up with both at the same time.
You pay a $75 application fee
You’ll pay this fee when applying, but then get $50 of it back when you pay off the loan. And the loan must be paid in full within 1 year.
The loan funds go to USCIS
We’ll send the money directly to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

WHO QUALIFIES FOR THE LOAN
The New American Loan Program is for any resident Minneapolis or St. Paul, Minnesota, that meets the requirements to be eligible for U.S. citizenship through naturalization, and who meet the loan qualifications, which includes proof of at least 1 to 2 years of employment history.
WHAT YOU CAN DO AS A U.S. CITIZEN
- Vote in local, state and national elections.
- Run for public office.
- Keep your U.S. citizenship while you travel or even live outside of the U.S.
- Apply for federal jobs that may require U.S. citizenship.
- Possibly get access to countries that may require a visa for U.S. citizens.
- Have your children automatically become U.S. citizens (they need to live with you, be under 18 years old, be Legal U.S. Permanent Residents and unmarried).
