Vanessa’s journey to increasing her credit score in two months started with a phone call about outer space.

 

More specifically, a phone call about Affinity Plus employees in Bemidji potentially taking a celebratory outing to the Headwaters Science Center’s Starlab, a portable planetarium that gives a front-row seat to the stars. 

 

Vanessa works at the center and helped the employees with their space questions, and also happens to be a member at Affinity Plus with a debit card. At the end of the conversation, Vanessa asked if she could get some help building her credit – after some issues in the past, she was in a place to build it back up, but didn’t know where to start. 

 

A credit score can determine much in a person’s life, including their chances at getting the rental they want or qualifying for a loan.
