These funds will help us with resources and materials to support this event.

mobile hope@2x

Mobile Hope Minnesota

We want to express our gratitude to the Affinity Plus Foundation and its members for helping to support the families of Maple Hill Estates and Dayton Properties at this difficult time. Families in our mobile home communities are often struggling to decide where to direct their finite resources and with this COVID-19 virus taking its toll many have the added burden of reduced hours or being laid off. These funds will enable Mobile Hope to address the added educational barriers present with distance learning in a marginalized community and aid students and parents looking for ways to support their children's long-term success. Education, healthy activities and new resources can offer a new source of hope to families in need. We thank you for your kindness.

peace house@2x

St. Thomas University – Center for the Common Good

The funding from the Affinity Plus Foundation grant provides us with additional opportunities to place college volunteers in K-12 and community organizations to provide additional support for youth, teachers, and families. Thanks to this grant, we will have additional resources to maintain social distancing for in-person experiences and be able to create more vibrant virtual experiences as we work collaboratively to close Minnesota’s opportunity gap.

eagan foundation@2x

The Eagan Foundation

Support from the Affinity Plus Foundation for Eagan Foundation’s Youth Philanthropy Program couldn’t be more timely as our organization (and community at large) reexamines institutions to ensure equity. Last year with support from Affinity Plus, 15 youth from Eagan met with community leaders in Minneapolis to discuss models of giving led by youth but driven and informed by community voices. Our entire organization learned from these young people and we are thrilled for Affinity Plus’s support for another year of this program.

TreeHouse Hope

Affinity Plus Foundation grant dollars will support TreeHouse Next—a TreeHouse program focused on coaching teens through the transition to self-reliant adulthood. Affinity Plus' gift will mean more teens will make plans and receive support to pursue post-secondary educational or vocational pathways, becoming community leaders in their own right! Affinity Plus' generosity benefits Dakota County TreeHouse locations, helping Lakeville and Eagan area teens to say, "I have a future."
