Affinity Plus to Hold Midway Branch Grand Opening Event
The location is the only credit union in the neighborhood and has an all-bilingual staff
WHAT: Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union is hosting a grand opening event for its newest location in the heart of the Midway neighborhood in St. Paul. The event will take place on the plaza outside the branch and will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, light refreshments and snacks and a chance to win one of five $100 Visa® gift cards*.
WHO: Affinity Plus Senior Leadership team, community members and local dignitaries, including Rep. Rena Moran and B Kyle from the St. Paul Chamber of Commerce.
WHEN: Wednesday, May 17 from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

WHY: As the only credit union in the neighborhood, this branch brings area residents convenient access to a full suite of banking services and member-centric programs. All staff members at the Midway location are bilingual in Spanish or Tagalog, and since its soft opening in February, the branch has welcomed many new members from the community, including the credit union’s 250,000th member.
