Tech Drive Tuesdays
Help Local Kids Learn & Stay Connected.

Kids deserve the best chance we can give them, and these days that usually requires having access to computers. We want to ensure kids have this access – especially for education and distance learning – and you can help.

Tech Drive Tuesdays

We’ve partnered with KARE 11 and Minnesota Computers for Schools to connect families in need with the computers and access required for their children’s education and development.

This means every $150 donated becomes a computer, tech support, an educational software bundle, and a warranty. And every Tuesday through September, we’ll accept equipment donations at our branches on designated event dates.

Working equipment is preferred but we will accept non-working computers as well. However, if you have a computer that doesn’t work, Minnesota Computers for Schools (MCFS) may be able to fix it and place it with a student. If they can’t fix it, it’ll be recycled responsibly.

MCFS makes every effort to refurbish and reuse all donated equipment. The refurbished equipment will be placed directly with students to help them engage in distance learning while schools are closed. There is no limit to how much you can donate! All monetary donations will be accepted, no matter the amount.

Any nonworking equipment will be disassembled, and the parts will either be used to build computers or recycled.
