Global Banking Launch

As a growing organization that puts members first and strives to provide innovative, efficient, and capable technology to meet the needs of all of our members, we have been anxiously awaiting the launch of our new online banking system. Unfortunately, we’ve realized during the final stages of launching this new system that it will not allow us to provide the type of experience our members expect and deserve. A successful online banking system includes Internet Banking, Phone Banking, Mobile Banking, Payment System Integration, online Business Services, as well as the ability to handle growth and change. Your feedback has been critical as you’ve pointed out many areas that require more attention. While this is a step back in the timing we had hoped for, we believe postponing the launch is the right thing to do.

Again, thank you for all of your help with testing. As you transition back to using Access Plus online banking, we would be honored to help you. Since features such as external and reoccurring transfers, wire transfers, and micro-deposits are not available in the current banking system, contact us so we ensure your transition is seamless.

Why did Affinity Plus not decide to move forward with Global Banking?

What do I need to do if I set up payments, automatic transfers, distributions, or wire transfers within Global Banking?
As you transition back to using Access Plus online banking, we would be honored to help you. Since features such as external and reoccurring transfers, wire transfers, and micro-deposits are not available in the current banking system as self-service options, contact us at (651) 291-3700, (800) 322-7228, and affinityplus@affinityplus.org so we ensure your transition is seamless.
When will the Global Banking system be unvailable?

As of Monday, June 18 the Global Banking site will be unavailable. You can start making the transition back to Access Plus online banking today, and we would be honored to help you with any questions or concerns.

When will you rollout a new online banking system?
Unfortunately, we don’t have an established timeline just yet. While we recognize this is a priority, we also want to ensure that the online banking system we launch will meet all of our members needs. While this is a step back in the timing we had hoped for, we believe postponing the launch is the right thing to do.
I heard you were going to offer Yodlee as an alternative to Mint. What are your plans now that you are not moving forward with Global banking?
We are looking at both Yodlee and Mint as possible financial management tools, as well as exploring all possible options that we could incorporate with our new online banking systems. We want to be sure we provide the most convenient and secure tool to put members in the best financial position possible.
