Kate joined the APFCU Supervisory Committee in 2020 and is currently serving as Co-Chair. Kate’s commitment to credit unions began 40 years ago in Anchorage, Alaska where her membership led to a role on a small credit union’s Board. Kate is now retired, having most recently served as VP for Finance and Treasurer (CFO) of Grinnell College (Iowa). Her executive management experience spans nearly four decades, primarily in the non-profit sector. She also serves on the Boards of Road Scholar aka ElderHostel (Boston, MA) and the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council (Saint Paul, MN). She previously served on the Board of the Minnesota Twins Community Fund; the Valley Chamber Chorale (Stillwater, MN); and the Board of Advisors for the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, where Kate earned her MBA.
