Statement from Affinity Plus on Officer Scott Patrick Memorial Fund

ST. PAUL, MINN. (July 31, 2014) - On July 30, Mendota Heights Police Officer, Scott Patrick, was fatally wounded while making a traffic stop. Officer Patrick had served with the Mendota Heights Police Department for 19 years.

Affinity Plus is deeply saddened by this tragedy. At the request of Officer Patrick’s family, the credit union has set up a benefit account in his honor. Donations can be made at any Affinity Plus branch location to the Officer Scott Patrick Memorial Fund. Donations can also be mailed to Affinity Plus at 175 W. Lafayette Frontage Road. Affinity Plus will be matching all donations up to $10,000, and all donations will be given to Officer Patrick’s family.

Estate Planning Workshops

January 29, 2015

These workshops are designed to provide you with a will, health care directive, durable power of attorney and basic transfer deed for real property, if needed.The cost of participation in these workshops will be $500 for a single person and $600 for a couple. Because these workshops are designed to provide completed plans by the end of the workshop, participation will be limited to no more than 20 members per workshop. To determine if your estate planning goals can be met through these workshops, please contact our estate planning advisor to arrange for a free consultation. If afterwards you feel the workshop will meet your needs, you may register for one of the workshops scheduled to take place between January and May.

The workshops will be held on the following days:

Each participant will be provided a packet of worksheets to complete and return one week prior to the scheduled workshop date. No participant will be required to spend the entire day at the workshop inorder to complete your estate plan. If you cannot attend the workshop you may schedule an individual session during a time
that is convenient for you.

Affinity Plus Takes the Polar Plunge

January 30, 2015

In support of our Charity of Choice, Special Olympics Minnesota, members and employees take the Polar Plunge in which they jump into freezing lakes in the middle of winter at Plunge events across the state.

We're proud to support Special Olympics Minnesota and the more than 8,000 athletes who participate in various sporting events and leadership opportunities through this organization.
