Affinity Plus Provides Fee-Free ATMs at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota

Patients, family members, employees and visitors at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota will now be able to withdraw cash for free at each of the Affinity Plus ATMs located on the Minneapolis, St. Paul, Roseville and Minnetonka campuses. Your Donation Can Save Lives!

You’ve donated your cash, Participation Rewards Points, nonperishable food items, and household products to our Charities of Choice – and now, you have another way to donate at the Red Cross Blood Drive.

To ensure that you have a great experience donating, the Red Cross offers the following suggestions:

  • Maintain a healthy iron level in your diet
  • Hydrate – drink an extra 16 oz of liquid before and after your donation
  • Have a healthy meal before your donation – avoid foods high in fat just prior to donation
  • Bring your driver’s license or government issued ID or Red Cross Donor card
  • Set aside one hour for your donation

In order to ensure safe donation, the Red Cross asks that donors are healthy (not displaying or feeling any cold or flu-like symptoms), be at least 17 years old, and weigh at least 110 pounds. Even if you meet these guidelines, you may not be able to donate for various reasons which can include the type of medication you take, or travel outside of the country. If you have questions about your eligibility to donate, you can visit the Eligibility Requirements page on www.redcrossblood.org, or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
