Why a Credit Union
With an abundance of options to choose from for your banking needs, we want you to understand what sets credit unions apart from the crowd.
First and foremost, credit unions are not-for-profit financial institutions owned and operated by its members. In other words, we're cooperatives. Our business model doesn't just focus on driving a profit for a small group of shareholders; rather, credit unions exist to put the needs of members first. Designed to support people within a given community, credit unions were formed by and serve members who share a common bond, such as employment, education, social interest, location, or religion.
We’re a part of your community, and we support the organizations and initiatives that make an impact in Minnesota. Our Preferred Partners and Charities of Choice are a few examples of the groups for which we advocate.
