Your Affinity Plus Visa debit and credit cards are now compatible with Samsung Pay and Android Pay, payment services that make it possible for you to authorize purchases in stores, apps, and online with your smartphone. Your card information isn’t shared when you use Samsung Pay or Android Pay, helping to reduce the chance of an unauthorized party gaining access to it.

Before you can use Samsung Pay or Android Pay, you will need to upload your Affinity Plus Visa debit or credit card information into the corresponding apps – it may be as easy as snapping a photo of your card and following the verification process.

Once this step has been completed, you’ll be able to authorize purchases at participating stores by simply holding your phone near the payment terminal. Easy! Samsung Pay employs Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) which allows you to use it nearly anywhere you can swipe or tap your credit card. Android Pay is accepted at nearly one million stores nationwide.

Samsung Pay and Android Pay can also be used to authorize purchases in participating apps using biometric recognition technology on your smartphone.

Use Samsung Pay or Android Pay the next time you go shopping so you can conveniently use your Affinity Plus Visa debit or credit card without having to dig it out of your wallet!
