Superior Banking: Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union Opens New Branch at Lake Superior College
The newest branch in Duluth serves as a space to help students and staff make smart financial decisions
DULUTH, MINN. (October 13, 2021) – Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union (Affinity Plus) is pleased to announce the recent opening of its newest branch location at Lake Superior College in Duluth. Students and staff at Lake Superior College are eligible for credit union membership, providing access to great banking services, a connection to the community, and a resource for financial questions and planning.
“Education is incredibly important to us at Affinity Plus, and we are always looking for ways to help students make sound financial decisions,” said Amanda Bruggman, Duluth Branch Manager, Affinity Plus. “Affinity Plus is committed to serving students and staff at Lake Superior College, and is a convenient place for all your banking needs. We are excited about this opportunity as it allows us to advise and build relationships with students and staff.”
The newest location includes an onsite banker, an ATM, and is a convenient way for students and staff to cash checks, apply for loans, make deposits or withdrawals, and get financial advice.
In celebration of the branch opening, Affinity Plus also made a $5,000 donation to the campus food shelf as a way to help both current and former students. Earlier this year, Affinity Plus donated a new fridge and freezer for the campus food pantry.
