Federally Insured

Each Affinity Plus IRA is federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). Regardless of what other accounts you have at Affinity Plus, your IRA is insured separately by the NCUA for up to $250,000.

Classic IRA (Traditional and Roth)

With no minimum balance, this IRA is an opportunity every member can afford to take advantage of. Interest is earned daily and compounded monthly. Payroll deduction provides you with an easy and convenient way to build your Classic IRA.

IRA Certificates (Traditional and Roth)

For a maintenance free IRA, we offer IRA Certificates. Choose from 12, 24, 36, 48, and 60 month terms at varying investment levels. At maturity, you can renew for the same term, or choose to increase your investment. Dividends must accrue to the Certificate. There is a penalty for early withdrawal.

Transferring Money From Other Retirement Accounts

If you have an IRA elsewhere that isn't earning as much interest as you would like, or if you are paying an annual fee, consider transferring it to Affinity Plus. The process is easy and we take care of most of the paperwork for you. Stop by any Affinity Plus office or call (651) 291-3700 or (800) 322-7228 for more details.

Check out our rates page to see what the current IRA rates are.
