Affinity Plus Foundation Scholarship can help you achieve your education goals. With a mission of providing financial education to youth and adults throughout Minnesota, the Foundation takes a step further by providing the financial resources necessary to help you achieve your goals of higher education. The Foundation awards four $5,000 scholarships each year to freshmen, upperclassmen, and nontraditional student members of Affinity Plus.

To be eligible, an application and all requested items must be postmarked by January 31, 2009. All applicants must be members with a unique member number.

The Minnesota Family Involvement Council will be awarding 20 scholarships for higher education and you are eligible to apply! This volunteer organization, made up of credit union representatives from around the state, is committed to promoting financial awareness and education. The scholarships will be awarded to members pursuing post-secondary education in the 2009-2010 school year (fall and spring semester). Nontraditional students, including adults returning to school or those in graduate and law school, can also apply.

The Minnesota Family Involvement Council will award a total of two $1,000 scholarships and 18 $500 scholarships in the spring of 2009. Applications must be postmarked or submitted electronically by February 2, 2009. Scholarship winners will be announced in March 2009, and the winners must claim their scholarship by May 31, 2010.

Over 700 students applied for a Minnesota Family Involvement Council scholarship last year, and two Affinity Plus members were among the many individuals to be honored with a $500 scholarship.
